You know you've been through a hurricane if...
*1- You used up all the candles your mom had for decoration
*2- You'd rather be in school than at home
*3- You spent the whole day sleeping cuz theres nothing better to do
*4- Your parnts are saying this is how it used to be when i was a kid
*5- Your city actually has a curfew of 8:00 PM-6:00AM
*6- You wake up early and you go to sleep early
*7- Youve been eating canned goods for the past few days
8- You've made one of those long ass lines at Metro Zoo, Tamiami, Orange Bowl, etc. to get water, ice, and food
*9- You've had barbecues in fron of your house instead of the backyard
*10- You had to take showers in cold water, and some of you haven't taken a shower cuz theres no warm water
*11- If in your block you can actually see the stars at night cuz there are no lights
12- If you can't talk on the phone cuz your phones are cordless
*13- If your cellphones have no reception
14- If you put gas in your car with a tube and a funnel (the old way)
15- If you haven't talked to your lover in a really long time
16- If your greedy brother is sharing his/her food
*17- If you don't have new friends on MySpace
18- If you actually loseweight from not eating
*19- If your living under worse conditions than Third World countries
*20- If at night you and your friends hang out at your friend's driveway with a bunch of chairs, a matress, and a flashlight listening to music from the car
*21- If you start reading a book
*22- If you start comparing hurricanes
23- If you think Katrina made more damages IN MIAMI (NOT NEW ORLEANS) than Wilma wtf? (wtf mate?)
*24- If the first thing that you do when you get power back is go on MySpace
25- If your realatives from Broward go to you house
26- You cant call the police if you have an emergency cuz you have no way to call them
27- When you finally start acting nice towards your step sister.
*28- When you repost this bulletin cause no one is on myspace/aim to talk to you
*29- When you run through your house jumping up and down screaming, "POWER!" the second it came back on.
*30- When you start playing cards, bingo and dominoes with your grandma.
*31- When it's colder outside then inside.
*32- When a flashlight becomes your best friend.
*33- When making shadow puppets seems like the most entertaining thing in the world.
*34- The second you find out that one of your friends have power you run over to the closet and start packing to sleep over cuz you sure as hell aint sleeping in a dark house without power.
*35- When board games are all you've got....=-(
36- the olny thing u can cook is pasta on a mini gas stove outside ur house.
37- went down to harvys to make coffee
*38- when you turn on your cell then turn it back off to conserve the last bit of battery
*39- when you walk around the house without a flashlight or candle cuz you're too lazy to get one and trip badly on something
*40- After the power cames back on, you have the best shower you have ever had.
*41-after uv had the best shower in ur life you sign onto AOL and scream"INTERNET!!!!"
42-When you have a generator and start calling ur friends and they dont pick up
*43- When neighborhood kids are ACTUALLY playing outside with one another
(all the ones with astricts apply, or did apply to me LOL... even though our curfews been lifted, but where i live in broward with my mom they still have one hahahahahahaha )
