In the new SOD, it says that Shawn proposes to Mimi.

Personally, I'm not excited for this. It's way, way too soon for them! And it's makes me nervous, because I'm beginning to think that this is JER's way of setting the couple up for disaster when it's revealed that Claire is Shawn's daugher ... What do you guys think?

ahhh man i didnt think about that, i was just too exicted about it!!! it is kinda too soon, but they've known each other for like ever so...and of course mimi is going to yes since shes had a crush on shawn since like forever! lol! i think they should wait a little but not too long--lol!

Hmmmm I'm not sure I like this. It is very soon. Shawn hasn't even told Mimi he loves her yet. If that goes along with the proposal then I'd feel different.

Though, I can see this in a way because Shawn has now realized how precious life is...Jack (we know he's not dead but still . . .), Claire, and now Chelsea.

I'm still betting we will see Mimi pregnant very soon .

But we don't know that proposal is really to get married. It could be a proposal to maybe ask her if she wants to be exclusive. I mean they never really talked about where their relationship stands. Or maybe the proposal is like the rumor, where he proposes to her for a dance on the dance floor? I'm not willing to believe just yet that spo is how we are all taking it.

true, shawn hasnt told mimi that he loves her yet, but she wouldnt let him, so i think that they should at least say that they love each other first before they start thinking about marriage.

I'm not sure how to take this. I need to see this play out. I just want Shawn to be asking her because he is truly and deeply IN LOVE with her, not just because he loves her and doesn't want time to slip away.

After a few short months of dating, ShaMe take the next step. They’re at the hospital, Claire is dying and Shan has a ‘mimi-epiphany,’ previews FF. “He sees how somebody’s life can flash before their eyes and he doesn’t want to waste another minute. He loves Mimi and thinks they should get married. It’s the most impromptu proposal.”



MeMe isn’t expecting it and actually thinks at first that he is going to break up with her. She’s surprised because she didn’t know how ‘truly deep down he wanted to be with her. She sees that Shawn is serious about her and those pesky Belle doubts go away.



They decide to keep the news to themselves. “She really wants to marry him,” says Fath. “She is so in love with him and Shawn’s been her dream guy her entire life. This is like a dream come true and she’s got no doubts as far as him being the one for her.”



My comments, ouch to the Rimi fans yet again, thought Rex was the love of her life. I am going to open one big woop assed can of “I told ya so” when all of her dreams are shattered. They are so setting it up. It also sounds like another hospital roof top proposal for Shawn. If I were Meems I'd still have doubts especially if he uses those rings. What kind of woman wants a recycled love?

Shawn and Belle? Shawn and Mimi? MM and FF comment. MM started watching Days because it was so romantic. She hopes Shelle reunite. It would be a good payoff for people who’ve been waiting years to see them together. FF notes that there have been a lot of Shelle fans for six years ‘so a lot of them are close-minded to the Shawn and Mimi pairing.’ She can relate as she didn’t want Carrie to leave Austin for Mike. She doesn’t care who she ends up with, she wants a job. She’ll date Philip, Bo or Victor. MM wants to be with Brody ‘please, please, please.’ FF wants him too but MM pointed out he is Mimi’s brother.
