For a long time after KS left the role of Belle, I couldn't really get behind Martha as her new portrayer. But now I can't see it any other way. I really can't picture Kirsten playing the Belle we're seeing now.

yeah.. no offense but i think the belle we're seeing now is waayyy too whiny. I dont think KS could be that whiny, I mean shes a great actress i just cant see her playing this characters personality now

I really can't see KS playing Belle with this crappy writing. Honestly, if KS hadn't have left I don't think the storyline would have went in this direction at all!!!! Although it would be cool to see KS, JC, and FF in a heated love triangle! (As Belle, Shawn, and Mimi of course!) BTW, I think Martha is a good Belle.... I just miss KS as Belle and think the last year has had VERY crappy writing!  |

i think marthas doing good, what with the crappy writing shes gotten. Its not easy taking over a character that was so loved and making it your own, ya know?

Me too! I wish MM didn't have to deal with this ridiculous character either, though she plays it really well.

Honestly, I think it's a no win situation for either roles  . I can't stand the character of Belle any more and Maxie isn't close behind, unless they change the way they are writing her. |

I don't want to have people hate me, but for the most part no matter who was playing her, except that girl Martha replaced her with...yeah roadkill can act better than that. The character Belle has always been spoiled and whiny in some level. This Belle is just the adult version of the childhood whiner. Remember when she followed Philip on his ISA missions and got him kicked out of the ISA because she woudln't listen to him and not follow him? Spoiled little brat.
