Urgh! Just freakin' lovely. Even though I'm almost completely sure they're not going to put Shelle back together (especially with the feedback they've been receiving from Shimmers ), I hate that this is just going to add completely unnecessary drama to Shimi's relationship.

Daddy's Little Girl: The Baby is Shawn's

Jate makes a horrifying discovery this week about ailing baby claire: Philip isn't her father, shawn is. "It seemed at this point in time, with the baby's life hanging by a thread, let's throw one more thing on the fire and get things going, " executive Producer Ken Corday of the plot twist.

"Claire needs a blood donor, " previews farah Fath, "Belle, Shawn, Mimi, and Philip give blood. Philip's blood doesn't match, but Shawn's does. Ithink Kate is going a strong assumption just by the blood match that Shawn is the father."

Kate does some research in the hospital records, then jumps into cover-up mode. "as soon as she finds out that Shawn is the father, she beelines to Mimi to find out how serious Shawn and Mimi are and if they're gonna be getting married anytime soon." says Fath. "She wants Shawn to be completely out of the picture and in love with someone else. Kate goes so far as offering Mimi a job at Basic Black so she can make some more money so they can pay for the wedding." Mimi get understandly suspicious at this point. " The whole time Mimi's asking her, "What is this really about?" says fath. Mimi says, "we just started dating. We're not gonna get married anytime soon, I'm sorry to disappoint you, Kate.' and then Kate kind of halfway confesses and says ' Just on the off chances that Belle and shawn still have feelings for each other, I just want to make sure that Belle and Philip's relationship is secure and nothing going to get in the way. I just think that you being with shawn is going to be that security.' Mimi takes that and is like 'Okay. That's a legitimate answer."

Yeah, this isn't a shocker, everyone saw this coming. JERk really needs to come up with original ideas! The whole "whose your daddy?" storyline is older than dirt. This better not be the thing that brings Shelle together because Jason and Martha have zero chemistry together compared to Farah and Jason!

Ofcoarse I saw this coming a mile away but I was really hoping it would come out much later. As long as they don't have Mimi keep anything from Shawn i think our couple will be ok. Reuniting Shelle better not even cross their minds. They have zippo chemistry!! Kate just needs to keep her mouth shut and hopefully some of you are right w/ the miracle prenancy for Mimi. I'd be sooo happy if that happened

This seems way too easy. Maybe Belle feared Shawn was the father all along and not wanting to hurt Phil since he was off in combat, did something to mess around with the paternity tests. Or maybe Belle's been the one lying all along. Father or not, why would Shawn be happy with Belle if she lied all this time about the baby being his.

I just hope this isn't the ultimate story because this is way too predictable and such an overdone story.

I think our next campaign should have something to do with a miracle baby for Mimi ;D.

People keep saying that Shawn's going to end up leaving Mimi for Belle and their child, and Shelle will reunite. What do you guys think?

IMO, Shawn's a pretty upstanding guy (nowadays, anyway) and just because he's going to have obligations as a father, that doesn't necessarily mean he'll run to actually be with Belle, because he is moving on -- and she's still married (LOL). He wants Mimi now, and that's been shown time and time again. He's over Belle and done with Shelle! ;D

HI I'm new. I am sooooo upset about the whole Claires father deal I had to search and find a place to discuss it. I LOVE Shawn and Mimi together. I hope Shawn remains loyal to Mimi and gives her a chance. Belle and Shawn were such an annoying couple to me and so overdone. I was so happy it ended.

Also Philip OMG I feel so bad for him. He has taken care of Belle and Claire and now to be betrayed.. just so upsetting for him.

I truly hope Days will give Mimi and Shawn a chance, they have such chemistry together I love it!! It sent me here to talk about it and I've never done this before haha ;D

This is what I'm hoping. Because biologically Shawn is related to Philip (half-nephew/half-uncle) just like Brady Black is, I'm hoping that it will be revealed that Philip really IS Claires father. That, right now it only "looks" like Shawn is the father but actually Philip really is.
